Description
Expressive colour fields with atmospheric depth. This hand-painted canvas features sky blue, deep blue and sand beige in horizontal bands. Broad areas of colour, softened edges and layered brushwork create a contemplative abstract composition inspired by Mark Rothko’s approach to colour field painting within Abstract Expressionism.
Artist inspiration: This is a contemporary hand-painted interpretation inspired by Rothko’s visual language. It is not an original Mark Rothko painting, is not attributed to him and is not a print.
Why You’ll Love It
